I was pleasantly surprised at how popular my last haiku post was so I decided to share more. I’m considering making a semi-regular habit of it too. Even if you people didn’t enjoy it (which you did from the look of it) I do!!! Again, I couldn’t decide which haiku was my favourite so I’ve decided to share in chronological order from a list that I made for the first post from back in March. The first batch of haiku can be found here. I hope you enjoy this batch too.
Movement of the pen We both wonder who writes who This, the art of words
Cat in front of the fire. She’s gently snoring I feel my heart warm
Old guitar of mine The stories etched into wood There’s more yet to come
RJ oh RJ Though you never existed Your music runs deep
I feel spring sunshine I feel a dead winter chill At the crossover
Journey through silence Beauty of music that’s made Dancing into life
Windows of the soul Eyes telling stories untold Echoes of the past
Art knows not of time Only wilderness within Of infinity
Roots of the arcane Sorrow, yet joy in motion Around one more time
She’s called a rebel Because she lives her own life Nothing wrong with that
Thank you for taking the time to read this post today.

love the simple structure of the haiku. Yours are beautiful! I found out here on substack that the life observations are called Senryū and the nature feels are called haiku! i had no idea there was a difference but I think it was @CJHeck who taught me
